Isländska specialåklagaren avrapporterar

Realtid.se skrev under måndagen om det senaste i Haukssons utredning.

Där framkom att Hauksson lett en razzia i kraschade isländska banken Kaupthings Luxemburg-kontor.

I efterhand hör han av sig till Realtid.se via e-post och berättar om läget:

”It is correct that searches were made in Luxembourg last week because of investigation on Kaupthing that has been in process in Iceland since last year.

It was nessecery to gather documents and information in Lux because of leads were pointing at that direction and had to be investigated in contents of the investigation here in Iceland.

I am having difficulities to answer question nr. 3 because this is an investigation and it’s purpose is to have all the facts straight.
