About the role
VNV Global´s General Counsel is now looking for a colleague with strong legal expertise, solid business understanding and an analytical and proactive approach, who will thrive on providing legal advice and services to VNV Global´s dynamic organization.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Provide support and advice on a wide range of corporate and legal matters related to but not limited to, investments, M&A, financing, capital markets and corporate commercial matters,
• Handle matters related to the public equity market transactions, and regulatory issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements and other legal documents.
• Advise on and participate in maintaining top shelf corporate governance
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of policies, forms, trainings, and processes to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with applicable US, European, and other international laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with and manage external counsel
• Provide day to day assistance on legal matters to enable the business to make informed and balanced decisions while mitigating risk in a constantly evolving industry.
• Develop structures and processes within the legal function.
You will report to the General Counsel.
About you
In addition to your distinguished law degree, we expect you to have solid commercial legal expertise and about five years´ experience working for a reputational law firm or in-house at a legal department of a company within a relevant sector such as an investment firm or start-up.
You combine a passion for business with broad experience within the areas of Venture Capital investments, M&A transactions, capital market, general corporate law and/or commercial agreements.
Experience from working with -ESG-related issues is a plus. You enjoy independently supporting the organization from project start through operations to execution in a dynamic environment. To fit the role, we believe that you have excellent communication skills in English and Swedish and are able to establish and maintain strong working relationships internally as well as externally.
