At OX2, you will be part of a professional and ambitious company dedicated to accelerating access to renewable energy. As a true multi-specialist organization, OX2 offers a dynamic and inspiring workplace where cross-functional collaboration is key to achieving the best results. Here, you are encouraged to take initiative and given both the freedom and responsibility to make a real impact.

We are now looking for a Tax Manager to join us in powering the great shift.

About the Role

As a Tax Manager, you will join an ambitious, hardworking, and down-to-earth team and work closely with colleagues across Tax, Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Transactions, and the wider business. Reporting to the Head of Structuring & Tax, you will take on a broad and business-oriented role with a clear focus on international corporate taxation across the business.

The position combines day-to-day tax work with active involvement in business matters linked to OX2’s continued growth and development. Alongside a wide range of international corporate tax matters, the role includes substantial exposure to M&A-related matters and other strategic projects where tax is an important part of the business context.

This is therefore a role for someone who enjoys both corporate tax work and being involved in transactions and growth-related initiatives. As the company continues to grow, the role will evolve over time in line with your skills, strengths, and ambitions.

Your Main Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include supporting and managing international corporate tax matters across OX2, advising on tax questions arising in business operations across multiple jurisdictions, and contributing to strategic initiatives where tax input is relevant.

You will also play an active role in M&A-related matters and other growth initiatives where tax is a key component in decision-making.

The role further involves handling day-to-day corporate tax questions from the business, monitoring legislative developments, and contributing to the further development of tax processes, governance, and ways of working. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external advisors and be an important tax partner in matters connected to the company’s growth and development.

About You

You have a minimum of four years of relevant experience as a tax professional in a Big4 firm, law firm, or industry. Experience from international corporate tax matters is essential, and experience from M&A-related tax work is considered a strong advantage.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and have basic proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as fundamental accounting knowledge.

You are proactive, structured, and business-oriented, with the ability to manage processes independently and maintain focus under pressure. You thrive in an ambitious, fast-paced, and international environment and are comfortable working in a setting where priorities may shift and processes are still evolving.

You have sound judgment, a hands-on approach, and a strong willingness to learn. You are also a collaborative team player who is comfortable taking ownership and driving work forward.

Our Offer to You

At OX2, we offer an exciting career in renewable energy, where you will play a key role in driving the shift toward a sustainable future.

In this role, you will work with international corporate tax matters at the core of the business, while also being involved in transactions and strategic projects as part of a skilled team in a dynamic workplace in central Stockholm. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and travel opportunities.

OX2 is an ambitious company with top-tier colleagues and a forward-looking culture. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally, contribute to large-scale projects and investments, and be part of a business operating in a future-focused industry.

Joining OX2 means becoming part of a company in transformation, where you will have the opportunity to shape both your role and the broader tax function while making a meaningful impact on the company’s development.
