We are now looking for a Legal Counsel – Contracts & Privacy, to join the legal function at our headquarters in Stockholm.

About the role

As our new Legal Counsel – Contracts & Privacy, your primary focus will be to develop and strengthen our business-oriented operations that support sales. In addition, you will be responsible for handling privacy-related issues, also those deeply intertwined with the Teamtailor platform. A key aspect of the role is enabling the business to make the right decisions at the right time.

Your main tasks will include:

• Providing proactive, clear, and relevant legal advice, with a focus on commercial contract law and privacy
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various types of agreements
• Establishing efficient and high-quality workflows based on business needs
• Keeping our Privacy Framework up to date to support the company’s business goals.

About you

We are looking for someone with a law degree and 3-5 years of professional experience in business law, gained from a law firm and/or another company. Above all, solid knowledge of commercial contract law and privacy is essential. Experience from working in a tech company and/or combining advisory work with responsibility for governance and structure is highly meritorious.

You are pragmatic and solution-oriented – you understand the purpose of the legislation but can also make reasonable trade-offs in a business context. You work independently but enjoy collaborating – especially closely with product, tech, and business teams. You like taking responsibility, creating structure, and driving initiatives forward. The role also requires the ability to switch between detailed focus and long term goals – and to explain complex issues clearly and relevantly across different parts of the organization. You will be working in a highly operational and business integrated team, lead by our Head of Legal & Legal Operations.
