The Opportunity

We are now looking for a commercially minded and business-oriented Head of Legal Nordics & Baltics to lead all Legal activities across the region.

Reporting directly to the General Counsel UK, Ireland & Nordics/Baltics, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior management and key stakeholders while leading the legal agenda across seven markets. The role combines strategic influence with hands-on legal leadership and offers significant autonomy within a truly international organization.

As Head of Legal Nordics & Baltics, you will also be a member of the Nordics & Baltics Management Team, providing legal and commercial guidance on key business decisions and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organisation. This position offers a opportunity to operate at the intersection of law, business and leadership.

Working closely with commercial teams, regulatory affairs, sustainability, communications and senior management, you will help shape business decisions, manage legal risks and ensure compliance in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·       Leading all Legal activities across the Nordic and Baltic region.

·       Advising senior leadership on legal, regulatory and strategic business matters.

·       Developing legal strategies that support growth while protecting the company’s interests.

·       Driving compliance initiatives and ensuring adherence to EU and national legislation.

·       Managing complex legal matters, disputes and regulatory challenges across multiple jurisdictions.

·       Leading and developing the regional legal function while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a senior legal professional who combines strong legal expertise with commercial acumen, sound judgement and a collaborative leadership style.

To be successful in this role, you are a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification Swedish legal experience gained from a leading law firm, an in-house legal function, or a combination of both. You have a proven ability to advise senior stakeholders, influence decision-making and navigate complex legal and regulatory matters in a business-oriented environment.

Experience from highly regulated industries such as FMCG, food, life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or other regulated sectors will be highly valued. Experience working with EU legislation and regulatory frameworks is also advantageous.

Beyond your professional background, you are a confident communicator who builds trust and credibility across all levels of an organization. You are comfortable operating independently, making difficult decisions when required and constructively challenging the business when necessary.

Please note that fluency in both Swedish and English is essential.
