Group Tax Manager with Focus on Indirect Tax to Arrive

As Arrive, we guide customers and communities toward brighter futures and more livable cities. This isn’t a challenge just anyone could take on. Luckily, we have something to help us make it happen: our people and our values. We Arrive Curious, Focused, and Together. Just as our entire brand is inspired by the North Star, the shining light leading travelers to their destinations since time began, our values guide us. They help us be our best. For our customers. For the cities and communities we serve. For ourselves. As a global team, we are transforming urban mobility. Let’s grow better, together.
We are now looking for a Group Tax Manager with focus on Indirect Tax, who wants to play a central role in our continued growth journey.
What We Offer
At Arrive, you will be part of a dynamic, international, and innovative environment where collaboration and development are at the core of everything we do. You’ll have the opportunity to work with complex and advanced tax matters in a truly global context, while also strengthening your expertise by driving strategic projects and influencing key group-level decisions.
Our corporate culture is built on three core values: curious, focused, and together. We value openness, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to employee well-being. As part of Arrive, you’ll be working in a company with high ambitions and a clear drive to lead the future of mobility.
This is a unique opportunity for you to combine complex tax matters with a central role in a fast-growing and innovative company. With us, you’ll have the chance to make an impact, grow professionally, and shape the future of mobility. We offer a workplace where development and well-being go hand in hand – and where your expertise truly makes a difference.
About the Role
As Group Tax Manager, you serve as the Group’s primary global Subject Matter Expert within indirect tax, ensuring compliance, efficiency and strategic alignment across all jurisdictions. You work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, R&D, Logistics and the wider business to embed tax compliance and efficiency into operational and strategic decision-making.
In this role, you drive the development of a robust global tax governance framework, optimize processes and tax technology, and contribute to strategic initiatives such as R&D tax credit optimization, new market expansion and supply-chain related projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Group’s global SME for indirect taxes (VAT, GST, Sales Tax, Customs), providing proactive and commercially focused tax advice to internal stakeholders.
- Develop, implement and continuously enhance a standardized global indirect tax compliance framework, including risk mapping, internal controls and regular reviews.
- Optimize tax technology and ERP-related configurations to improve compliance accuracy, automation and reporting efficiency.
- Manage and support indirect tax audits and inquiries, ensuring timely and compliant responses.
- Lead and improve the Group’s R&D tax credit and incentive processes, ensuring robust documentation, collaboration with internal stakeholders and maximized eligible claims.
- Contribute to strategic tax projects, including new market entries, supply chain optimization and integration of new business operations.
Who You Are
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Taxation, Finance, Accounting or Law, and bring more than eight years of progressive experience in international taxation with a strong focus on indirect tax across multiple complex jurisdictions.
You have a solid background from either a multinational in-house tax function or a leading advisory firm, where you have gained deep technical expertise and hands-on experience across various indirect tax regimes. A working understanding of customs and trade matters is considered an advantage.
You communicate clearly and confidently, with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate complex tax matters into actionable business guidance at all levels of the organization.
