About the Role
As Compliance Officer, you will become part of the Swedish compliance function – a close-knit and collaborative team with broad responsibilities and extensive exposure to the business.
This is a varied and hands-on role combining advisory work with implementation and operational compliance activities. Because the team is relatively small, everyone works across multiple areas and supports each other where needed. The role is therefore well suited for someone who enjoys diversity, responsibility, and working closely with stakeholders across the organization.
You will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and collaborate closely with the business in Sweden, compliance colleagues in Finland, and specialist teams across Euroclear Group.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include advising the business on regulatory and compliance matters, supporting sanctions-related work, conducting compliance risk assessments, developing policies and internal frameworks, and ensuring adherence to Swedish and European financial regulations. You will also contribute to training initiatives, monitor regulatory developments, and support larger transformation projects across the organization. You will also have the opportunity to interact externally, including participating in meetings with supervisory authorities, and internally by presenting key topics to senior management, including Executive Committee and the Board when needed.

- Data Protection / GDPR

- Outsourcing
- Cyber and IT-related compliance
- Compliance governance and conduct & culture
About you
We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience within Compliance, Legal, or Risk Management in a regulated financial environment. You are comfortable working independently, have experience interpreting and implementing regulations, as well as providing practical support and advisory to the business on compliance matters. You are used to drafting policies,conducting compliance assessments and ensuring effective compliance oversight. You combine strong analytical skills and integrity with a collaborative, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
- We believe you have
- A university degree in law, finance, economics, or a related field is required.
- At least five years of experience within Compliance, Legal, or Risk Management in a regulated financial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Swedish and European financial regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
- High integrity, strong analytical skills, and a pragmatic mindset.
