About the role

The Manager within Internal Audit is a key role responsible for managing and executing on the Internal Audit process life cycle under the instruction and guidance of Head of Group Internal Audit. You will have the operational responsibility for planning, scoping and/or performing internal audits and risk assessments. The person will be responsible for managing the team of Audit Managers within Group Internal Audit and will conduct training for new auditors.

The Manager will work with management in all areas to define the audit function as it relates to overall business activities. Managing formal reporting processes to management and regulatory compliance agencies will be crucial, as well as evaluating, testing and verifying the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, business processes and procedures. The role further includes formulation of appropriate GIA Policies, processes, SOPs and audit work programs.

Profile and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent, and at least five years relevant experience within internal audit. You have knowledge of internal audit, compliance, internal controls and business procedures. You are a team-oriented, as well as customer-oriented individual who has the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

In order to be successful in this role you need to be a proactive multi-tasker who can operate strategically as well as analyzing complex business and technical situations. You have good working knowledge of computer-based systems and standard windows software packages. You are fluent in English.
