Lawyer for IBM Sweden

You will become part of the global IBM Legal organization and more specifically the Northern Central and Eastern Europe (NCEE) Legal Team. The NCEE Legal team consists of 19 lawyers throughout the region, reporting to the NCEE Legal Counsel. The NCEE Legal Team is an experienced and highly appreciated legal team that works closely with the company’s business units. The role is currently based in Kista, but as from September 2025 it will be based in central Stockholm. Limited travel can be expected.
Your role and responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be to support the Swedish business by negotiating and providing legal advice relating to different types of IT-services agreements and public tenders (including a wide range of IT consultancy services) as well as agreements for IBM standard offerings, e.g. software and cloud. You will also provide limited legal advice within other areas of law such as for example labour-, marketing- and corporate law.

Requirements:
- Commercial lawyer with a love for negotiations
- Ability to show integrity under pressure and balance the requirements of different internal and external stakeholders
- Proven problem-solver with an ability to find creative legal solutions to complex issues
- Hands on and can-do approach
- Agile with a strong sense of ownership and leadership.
- Strong skills for clear and crisp communication and working proficiency (verbal/written) in Swedish and English.
- Master of Laws Degree from a Swedish university and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a lawyer, preferably from a well-renowned law firm or from an in-house counsel role.
- Experience with IT service contracts would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
