This is a new position in Attendo’s organization and a unique opportunity for the right person to define the new function, in a pioneering listed private care company. Two risk and internal control specialists already working at Attendo, will be part of the new group. The person will report directly to the CFO Fredrik Lagercrantz and will act as Secretary to the Board. 

The right person has an interest in participating in both the overall matters concerning corporate governance, practical management, advising in corporate development, as well as to lead and take accountability for the team’s responsibilities. We expect the person to have sufficient own expertise in legal and compliance related issues and the ability to lead the two internal control and risk management specialists, that will report to this role. Since this is a new role, the duties are defined by the areas of need; it is up to you to sharpen the edges and give form to the function. The primary areas of focus:

  • Corporate governance and Compliance

AGM preparation and execution, policies and guidelines framework, corporate housekeeping, compliance with MAR, stock exchange rules, Swedish Code of Corporate governance, etc., legal aspects of GDPR and NIS;

  • Risk Management

With support from specialists lead the risk management process as well as selected projects to mitigate identified risks; and

  • Internal Control Framework

With support from specialists, ensure compliance with as well as revisions and updates of existing internal control framework.

Further, legal work related to M&A and Swedish care regulations is currently outsourced but could become part of the scope in the future.

The role requires a humble personality with an entrepreneurial attitude and an appetite and ability to engage broadly in legal and compliance related questions.


  • Law Degree and around 10 years of experience
  • You must have good knowledge of company law, the Companies Act, and stock exchange and insider rules.
  • Good overall understanding of other significant compliance issues, e.g.; anti- corruption, competition law, GDPR, etc.
  • Operational experience and legal advice in M & A and corporate development.
  • It is desirable that you have worked with tax, finance, HR-related contracts, and other administrative contracts
