What we offer

We are now looking for a Group Tax Manager to the Group Treasury and Tax department.

Group Tax is part of the Group Finance organization and has the overall responsibility of direct taxes within Sweco. Group Tax is involved in tax audits, tax risk management, transfer pricing, tax due diligence in M&A transactions, establishing and implementing tax processes etc.

The Group Tax Manager works closely together with the Group Treasurer and Head of Tax to continuously improve the efficiency and sustainability of Sweco’s tax affairs while securing that Sweco acts in compliance with tax rules and regulations.

About the role

You will work with a wide variety of tax related matters and manage the following:

• Transfer Pricing
• Tax assistance in M&A transactions
• Documentation
• Ensure that tax policies for Sweco Group is developed, updated and communicated and in compliance with internal guidelines/policies and legal requirements
• Acting as an in-house tax advisor providing general tax support
• Monitoring and reporting changes in tax legislation
• Implementation of changes following changes in tax law or business model
• Assisting with tax audits and litigations (coordination and support to business areas/legal entities in questions)
• Communicating with tax authorities, external advisors and auditors

The work will be conducted in close cooperation with several other internal functions throughout the Group such as M&A, Group Accounting, Group Legal, Group HR as well as the Business Areas. You will be stationed at the head office in Stockholm, reporting to the Group Treasurer and Head of Tax.

Required skills and experiences

We are looking for someone with a university degree in finance or law and at least five years relevant experience as a tax professional with a Big4 company, law firm, the Swedish Tax Agency, a multinational corporation or similar.

In order to be successful in this role you need to be flexible and a pragmatic problem solver with a task-oriented focus. You are an easy-going and non-prestigious person with strong communicational skills who knows how to explain tax matters in simple terms. You have a hands-on approach and are a quick learner. You can establish networks and are business focused. Furthermore, you are equally structured, organized as persistent and engaged. You are fluent in Swedish and English.

It is meritorious to have transfer pricing experience.
