The role

As Compliance Officer you will ensure that the Branch Operations in the Nordic region comply with Head Office, local and international regulatory standards. You will also ensure that all operations of the bank are compliant with external regulatory instructions. 

Compliance Officer 

  • Coordination with Head Office, including the regular reporting.
  • Coordination with local regulators, including the regular reporting.
  • Create an overview of local and international regulations to be followed in our operations.
  • Ensure a maintenance of this overview and the application of these regulations in the Nordic Branches.
  • Ensure the application of the group compliance rules.
  • Ensure a regular training of the staff.

Financial Security Officer 

  • Coordination with Head Office, including the regular reporting.
  • Coordination with local regulators, including the regular reporting.
  • Taking reasonable steps to establish and maintain awareness and training.
  • Define and implement the risk prevention policy.
  • Undertake the management of projects relating to sanctions, transaction monitoring and payment filtering. Including liaison with head office in relation to the development of existing monitoring tools.
  • Ensure global compliance in terms of KYC, supervision of operations and documentation. 

Required background

  • Academic degree in Business Administration, Economics or Law
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with AML/FT regulation 
  • Proven knowledge of relevant banking products and product related risk
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Swedish
