Stockholm, August 4th 2016 - The Marketing Group plc, a true 360 digital company, today announces the appointment of Mats Lundkvist as a non-executive director and Carl Thunström as an investor relations advisor with immediate effect.

Mats Lundkvist, an expert in business transformation and change management, is a highly experienced international business executive, who is currently providing strategic counsel for BID Group, a firm that invests in IT, Manufacturing, Marketing, Construction Sectors, and ActUpon, a management consultancy firm.

He has a proven track record in business transformation, having worked as interim CEO for Cabeco, where he successfully increased the company’s proficiency drastically in just seven months and as a business developer for Volvo Trucks where he implemented a new IT system, worth 1.2 billion SEK.  This project is recognised in the sector as one of the most successful projects ever implemented.  He also held senior positions at QuickSolve, eZ Systems, Hobby Wholesaler, Wattholma Country Resort, twenty4help and Siemens Business Service.

Carl Thunström, previously from the Corporate Finance team at the investment bank Mangold Fondkomission AB, is an accomplished financial expert with an in-depth knowledge of the Swedish markets and strong International business acumen.  As well as providing strategic counsel for IPOs and M&As, he also advises listed companies on corporate governance issues. Carl holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics from Stockholm University and a Degree in Finance from Singapore Management University.
