Our organization is growing. We are currently around 60 employees with diverse backgrounds working from our headquarters in Stockholm and from our office in London. We are now looking for a skilled professional to join our General Counsel at our Stockholm headquarters.

Responsibilities and Tasks
The position entails an ability to combine sound business judgement with prompt and robust legal advice. As part of the legal team you will assist the business side in negotiating agreements with investors and ensuring that the legal documentation of our managed funds is in order. IPM’s business contains both Swedish and international aspects and IPM cooperates with expertise in the relevant jurisdictions. Swedish aspects of the job include review and negotiation of vendor contracts and other corporate business such as employment law and corporate governance matters.
Profile and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with an academic degree in law and with 3-5 years of experience from a top-tier law firm or as a legal counsel for a corporation within the financial sector.
Knowledge of negotiating trading agreements such as ISDAs, Prime Brokerage and Futures agreements etc. is meritorious as well as experience from investment funds. As IPM operates in a highly regulated environment we also value experience from regulatory and/or compliance work, although the primary responsibility for these matters are handled by the Compliance department.
Excellent skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written, is a requirement for the position.
As a person we think you are self-going and have a pragmatic approach to solving problems. You enjoy working closely with the business and have an interest in financial markets and asset management. The position also demands that you are analytical and can put legal problems into a practical context. You are curious and driven, prone to taking initiatives and deliver high quality products.
